The central raw coffee purchasing department of CAFEA Group in Hamburg procures selected green coffees of the Coffea arabica and Coffea robusta varieties in accordance with specified quality standards from the world's best, most important cultivation areas. For decades, we have maintained relationships with the key countries of origin – they guarantee our independence.

The selected green coffees we provide are carefully roasted in test roasting processes and then verified by grinding, brewing and tasting small portions of coffee. This process assures consistent quality. Arabica beans supply the finest coffee aroma, have high acidity and contain less caffeine than Robusta varieties. Robusta coffee combines a full-bodied, strong coffee taste with lots of caffeine.
